EXAMPLE: Learning Activities

For this course there are three types of Learning Activities:

1. Essay Assignments
You will write 3 essays of increasing length and depth, pulling news items off the internet to explore national and international issues.

2. Contributions to Shared Resources  
You will use the internet to collect, analyze, and post news items as Shared Resources for the class.This is an ongoing learning activity that will take place throughout the course of the semester.

3. Discussion of Shared Resources    
You will actively initiate and participate in the discussions on these items.
This is an ongoing learning activity that will take place throughout the course of the semester.
