Open SUNY COTE PD Associate: Karen

Karen Gardner-Athey is the Training Coordinator at the SUNY Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS). She received her MLIS from UCLA and a MS from Syracuse University. She also has a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Training the Trainer from the Education Department at Elmira College. She has been with the OLIS for the past 14 years where her primary focus is library systems training and support. In 2013, Karen completed the SLN Online Instructional Designer Certificate Program. Previously, she worked at Gaylord Information Systems and several libraries in the Los Angeles area.
