Dr. McKenzie Vorpahl is an Associate Teaching Professor in Communications at the University at Buffalo. With a passion for empowering students through education, Dr. Vorpahl has spent over a decade honing her skills as an online educator, bringing a dynamic and engaging approach to virtual classrooms. She specializes in Communication studies, and thrives on creating interactive lessons that foster a collaborative, student-centered learning environment.

My approach to online teaching is rooted in adaptability, clear communication, and leveraging technology to create an immersive learning experience. My mission is to make learning enjoyable and impactful for all students, regardless of their background or location. By tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, I cultivate a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions, explore new concepts, and grow both academically and personally. By the end of my courses, I want students to be excited about what they have learned, and eager to continue their journey as lifelong learners.

As a lifelong learner myself, when I am not teaching, I am exploring new tools, pedagogical strategies, and research to enhance my teaching practice and ensure that each student’s educational journey is both enriching and rewarding.
