Daniel Miller is a professor of mathematics at SUNY Niagara, where he has been teaching Contemporary Mathematics online since 2001. Over the past two decades, he has taught four different mathematics courses online, refining his instructional methods to create engaging and accessible learning experiences for students. His teaching philosophy emphasizes clear, structured instruction that helps students build confidence in mathematical reasoning, regardless of their prior experience with the subject.

Dan is committed to continuously improving online education and supporting student success. He understands that for many students, mathematics can be intimidating, and he strives to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. His long-standing experience with online instruction has shaped not only his courses but also his perspective on how technology can enhance learning outcomes for students of all backgrounds.
