A love of learning is contagious. This simple principle is the core of my teaching philosophy and informs every aspect of my online course development and delivery. As an online instructor, my goal is to provide students with a supportive, collaborative, and engaging environment. This requires substantial student-to-student and, importantly, student-to-instructor interaction. Learning is an active process. Therefore, distance learning courses must provide students with meaningful opportunities to explore, discuss, and challenge their own topical understanding through the online learning platform.
