Looking back on the COVID-19 pandemic period, it seems clear that while we made a valiant attempt at remote learning, our attempts were met with limited success. Many students despised the experience, both students and teachers had significant rise in mental health problems, and outcomes in terms of how much students actually learned were poor at best.

Diane Hamilton (1965-2022)
Diane Hamilton came to SUNY in 2012 as an intern for the SUNY Learning Network (SLN). In the Spring of 2013, she was hired as an Instructional Design Associate for Open SUNY, where she consulted with faculty on course design and instructional technologies.
