Join the BlendKit Experience!

BlendKit2017, the open, online course on blended learning design, combines a global cohort with value-add local interactions to provide a powerful professional development experience for those faculty and designers wishing to get started with or brush up on designing effective blended courses. SUNY/OLC Partnership

A partnership with the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) was announced at the #OLCAccelerate conference in Orlando, Florida, on November 17, 2016. Through this partnership, the OLC community will begin to have access to Open SUNY COTE’s competency development offerings and the OSCQR rubric, dashboard, and process, which was developed by Open SUNY COTE with the input of the Open SUNY ID community, COTE Community volunteer work teams, and SUNY campuses.

The partnership between OLC and SUNY will initially focus on providing access to Open SUNY COTE’s online instructional designer certificate program through the OLC Institute. In addition, OLC members will have access to the OSCQR rubric, our course-level quality rubric, for reviewing and improving the instructional design and accessibility of online courses, which earned a 2015 OLC Effective Practice Award, and the 2016 NUTN Distance Education Innovation Award.
