SUNY Online Teaching Ambassador 2024: Genesee – Donna McGrew
Donna J. McGrew is an experienced supply chain professional who began her career as a Traffic Clerk in the printing industry. She advanced to Claims Specialist, Traffic Analyst, Traffic Supervisor, and Traffic Manager. Donna also served in a traffic management position at a publisher’s distribution facility in the Buffalo area.
After working over 40 years in private industry, she turned her passion for books and education into teaching online Business Logistics Management courses for the past decade at Genesee Community College. Starting with teaching a single course, she now teaches all five of the online courses offered in the Business Logistics Management series.
Donna earned her BA and MBA degrees from the University at Albany and holds a number of APICS certifications: Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified in Production Inventory Management, and Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution.
Aside from currently being an adjunct instructor at GCC and the Financial Secretary for a non-profit institution, she is involved in several volunteer organizations, docents at the Hull House, and enjoys reading (murder and mayhem) and making jigsaw puzzles.
