SUNY Online Teaching Ambassador 2024: Niagara – Glory Fox
Glory Fox, a dedicated educator and advocate for online learning, joined SUNY Niagara in 2020 after nearly two decades as a classroom teacher. With a steadfast commitment to student success, she adeptly oversees the onboarding process for students across different course modalities, ensuring seamless coordination among departments and support services.
In addition to her role as an instructor, teaching Early Childhood Education and Social Science courses, Glory spearheads the “Building our Students’ Success” initiative to boost student retention and persistence. Her presentation at the 2023 SUNY Student Success Summit highlighted her dedication to empowering students in both instructional and Online Student Support Specialist capacities. Through collaborative efforts with various departments, she offers workshops and resources to facilitate student success in online learning
Glory holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education with a certification in Special Ed. and a Master’s degree in English Education Studies. Currently pursuing her PhD at SUNY Buffalo, focusing on Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning, she demonstrates a lifelong commitment to advancing education. Through her dedication, innovation, and unwavering support for student success, Glory continues to shape the future of learning at SUNY Niagara, leaving a lasting impact on every student she encounters.
