Open SUNY Online Teaching Ambassador 2016 – Albany: Stephanie Affinito

Stephanie Affinito is a full time Staff Associate in a teaching-intensive position within the Department of Literacy Teaching and Learning at the University at Albany. Her teaching interests include literacy coaching, elementary classroom literacy instruction and working with students who experience difficulty learning literacy.

She teaches in both the on-campus and online programs and incorporates multiple digital and interactive tools into her courses to further student learning and better connect and collaborate with students.

Stephanie works to transform teacher learning and provide new, online possibilities for teacher education, so ultimately, teachers can transform student learning in the classroom in new, digital and powerful ways.
