Linda Hall, CPA, CMA, CGMA is a Professor of Accounting and the Interim Director of the School of Business at the State University of New York at Fredonia. She has more than ten years of professional accounting experience and almost 30 years of experience in higher education. Her current SUNY online courses include Principles of Financial Accounting and Principles of Managerial Accounting. She has worked with the faculty in the School of Business toward offering every course in the Business curriculum online at least once a year, during the semester, J-Term, or summer terms.
Online courses are imperative for today’s diverse student population, providing opportunities for those not able to attend physically for whatever reason. Online also allows options for start-up, catch-up, and make-up, and can reduce curricular bottlenecks.
