Open SUNY Online Teaching Ambassador 2020: Herkimer – Linda Contino-Lamb

Linda Contino-Lamb earned a BS in Marketing from Alfred University in 1987 and an MA in Adult Education from Buffalo State College in 2002. She currently acts as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the Internet Academy and Continuing Education at Herkimer County Community College.  She has worked in online learning for over 20 years, joining Herkimer County Community College’s Internet Academy as their first Director in 2001. In addition to teaching online, she worked to recruit and train online faculty, develop fully online degree programs and build an array of services for online students.

I consider myself both cheerleader and advocate for online learners and faculty on our campus.  My goal is to constantly strive to improve all aspects of the online learner experience from application to graduation!
