10:22:42          From alexandra pickett : it is ok, not to be available 24/7 – no one can… you are doing exactly what you should. just make sure you tell them what to expect in terms of availability. and then be sure to stick to that 🙂

10:24:40          From alexandra pickett : setting expectations is essential and one of the ways you express your “teaching presence.” make it only as explicit as you are actually able to do. as Rob says, some vagueness can give you flexibility that you need.
