The Sloan-C 2002 Award for Excellence in institution-Wide Asynchronous Learning Network Programming acknowledges SLN for advancing learning, access, scale, and student and faculty satisfaction.  – 2002 (press release).In 2001, SLN received the Sloan-C Award for Excellence in ALN Faculty Development  which recognized SLN as an institution that has “developed and delivered an outstanding program for faculty professional development” in online teaching and learning.
