Bryan Berndt is a professor in the Business department at SUNY Rockland Community College.

Nothing could be finer for me than being recognized for development and promotion of Online Education. The power of remote education is awesome when you think about its application in 11 time zones, hundreds of countries, thousands of languages and a potential to reach billions of people through the combination of educational and social media platforms. We live in extraordinary times.

Today’s instruction must make the highest and best use of technology and Academia’s related investment in its technological infrastructure. I admire today’s students for having so many options and so much power available to learn with. I am excited to be both user and promoter of Online Technologies.
