SUNY Online Teaching Ambassador 2024: Alfred State – Garth Grantier

Garth Grantier is an Adjunct instructor of Chemistry at Alfred State College in the Physical and Life Sciences department where he has taught for over 25 years. He earned his BS and MS from Alfred University.  In 2017, he earned the Pioneer Award at Alfred State College that acknowledges those who have demonstrated commitment and dedication to the college mission and goals, have made contributions that have had meaning and measurable positive impact on college operations, are seen as positive role models and show creativity and initiative, and have shown a consistent level of exceptional performance throughout their employment. Grantier is also a member of the Faculty Senate, Pathways Leadership Team, Placement Test Committee, CDR committee, and the Summer Prep Academy Committee.
