Are you a SUNY Online Teaching Fellow?

The SUNY Online Teaching Fellows program is open to anyone. For members of our SUNY community there are a number of self-selected roles that you can review to choose which role would be best for you. For friends and colleagues outside the SUNY system, the Friend of SUNY role is designed especially for you. Our community of online practitioners is enriched by individuals from non-SUNY contexts.

Our Fellows program provides a way for us to recognize both SUNY and non-SUNY individuals as members of our community of practice based on roles/interests, and to give us a way to target communications within the community based on the Fellow role.

There are no required demands on any individual, but there are some broad role-based expectations. So, for those within the SUNY system, review the descriptions… e.g., even if you are an Expert ID, Innovator, or an Experienced Mentor, you may opt for the Experienced role based on the expectations. It is entirely up to you.

Simply click the one that fits best for you. You can choose any one of them that you feel fits. As mentioned the Friend of SUNY option is the role specifically for non-SUNY friends.

If you have any questions about the program, or anything else related to Online Teaching, please let us know. Happy to connect!
