Meagan Curtis is an Associate Professor of Psychology at SUNY Purchase. Professor Curtis’s research interests include the communication of emotion through speech and music, the use of music for emotional regulation, the use of music in therapeutic interventions, the influence of acculturation on musical behaviors and perception, the influence of the auditory environment on attention, and the evolution of music.
