SUNY Online Teaching Ambassador 2026: Alfred State – Jarrad Childs

Jarrad Childs is an Assistant Professor in the Business Department at Alfred State College, where he has taught since 2022. He also serves as an instructor at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. Jarrad holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Oregon University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at the University of the Cumberlands.

His teaching emphasizes experiential and service-learning approaches, incorporating diverse instructional methods, industry-recognized platforms such as Google Coursera and HubSpot, artificial intelligence applications, and current industry resources to ensure students engage with relevant, up-to-date business practices.
