Dr. Bert Shillingford is an Assistant Professor in the Business Department at SUNY Rockland Community College.

It’s with great pleasure that I am being recognized for the development and advocate for online education. Online education is a game changer. Such a game changer makes it convenient for everyone around the globe. Students around the globe have the flexibility in taking courses anytime and everywhere. 

Today’s online education must be flexible, convenient, cost effective, and accessible with a personal touch. The personal touch is exhibited through discussion forums. Discussion forums which enhanced student’s engagement.

In conclusion, I am elated to be a user and advocate for online education.
