Adult learning theory guides my teaching approach in the classroom, where I focus on fostering collaborative learning, and where peers and faculty learn from and with each other. I aim to provide students with skills in problem-based learning that prepare them for the field, and to help them have fun while they learn. I want students to know that social work as an exciting field full of opportunities for creative problem-solving, and that the way they support people will make a big difference in outcomes.
