Mary C. Forgea

Mary C. Forgea, MSN, RN is an Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Program Director at the SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Nursing. She received her MSN from LeMoyne College in 2014 in Nursing Administration and BS from LeMoyne College in 2011 in Nursing. She is currently working on a PhD in Nursing through the University at Buffalo.

I initially began teaching online as an adjunct professor and took a full-time teaching position in July 2019. The majority of my students work part-time or full-time as Registered Nurses while balancing a variety of other responsibilities. Online learning provides them with the opportunity to continue their education while also learning and growing as professionals. I enjoy exploring and learning new techniques for delivering content online and engaging students. Providing students with the best possible online learning experience is what I continue to strive for. I look forward to continuing to grow in my role as an online educator!
