Dr. Sarah Bonzo received her B.S. and M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and received her Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on process improvement and patient safety in health care. Before joining SUNY Oswego as Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for the MBA in Health Services Administration program, Dr. Bonzo was the Director of the Transformation Management Office at Rochester General Hospital where her work focused on implementation and optimization of the electronic medical record. Since joining SUNY Oswego in 2013, Dr. Bonzo has taught graduate and undergraduate courses both in the classroom and online in the AACSB-accredited School of Business and has become increasingly interested in online pedagogy and methods for improving the online experience. SUNY Oswego’s online MBA program was recently ranked 20th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
