Volunteer with SUNY Online Teaching

SUNY Online has engaged campus-level involvement and participation in work groups and advisory teams at various times and transitions. This community‑driven approach ensures that campus perspectives meaningfully inform program design, decision‑making, and the prioritization of initiatives. We maintain several standing working groups and periodically convene ad hoc teams to address emerging needs and specific topics.

Past projects have included:

  • Community of Practice (Core Team): Mentoring, Effective Practices, Fellow Application Review
  • Competency Development (Core Team): Badging, Online Readiness Inventory, Self-paced course: Interested in Teaching Online?
  • Course Supports (Core Team): Testing and feedback on the OLC online interactive OSCQR dashboard and rubric, OSCQR feedback/continuous improvements
  • Research and Innovation (IIRC)
  • Other Pilot Testing and Feedback

If you are interested in volunteering for a future SUNY Online work group or team, we’d love to hear from you!
