Project Outcomes

Building upon prior learning assessment (PLA) priorities identified in SUNY Empire’s Academic Affairs Action Plan, this project promotes cross-functional institutional collaborations for creating systems, tools, and faculty, staff, and student professional development resources for the early identification of students’ potential PLA credits to increase student cost-savings, retention, and degree completion.

This project aims to make more collaborative, knowledgeable engineers by providing students hands-on data labeling experience with tools that are used in everyday modern AI applications while also solidifying knowledge of basic concepts in natural language processing.

This proposal will help SUNY Brockport faculty explore and implement a wide range of innovative assessment strategies that fall under the umbrella of ungrading, which fosters student learning and development and promotes equity in instruction and grading.

Innovative Instruction Technology Grants funding will provide SUNY Jamestown Community College with the capacity to design and create a dedicated space for writing and testing virtual and augmented reality programming.

SUNY teacher education faculty from Buffalo State and Old Westbury implement video-based feedback within reflective teaching cycles to enhance novice educators’ teaching performance and reflective ability, and articulate a replicable process for integrating video analysis into teacher education coursework.
