Description
We use this rubric in our Information Literacy Assessment of EGL 101 Composition classes. The assignment is a Research paper. We are assessing student learning based on the 5 criteria in the attached rubric in evaluation of final student papers. Over the course of the semester, two library training sessions are conducted per class: 1) Intro to library resources and research strategies and 2) sources and citations. During the semester, the teaching librarian is available for quazi-embedded librarianship to support students and answer questions.
Recommended Number of Students: 20-30 per class
