Description

A. Vikram has utilized the Health Sciences Reasoning Test (HSRT)- A Critical Thinking Skills Assessment as a means of diversifying the incoming applicant populations for admissions standards as well as using the assessment as a means of preparing pre-clinical students to enhance their insight and awareness of their own critical thinking skills in relationship to actual practice. This assessment highlights a process of equity and objectivity when used within admissions as it facilitates non-traditional students and students of color to enter a field on the basis of a holistic admissions protocol.

Recommended Number of Students: 150 students are tested on an annual basis with more than 20 admitted to a cohort of 35
Time Requirements (Approximate): Can be completed in a semester time period
