Project Abstract:
The project developed and evaluated course-specific AI tutoring agents designed to support student learning across multiple disciplines and examined the process of creating these agents on several generative AI platforms. Although the agent development process was found to be largely similar across platforms, the quality and instructional effectiveness of the resulting agents varied substantially. Because deployment was delayed due to institutional access challenges, the evaluation of student learning outcomes has not yet been completed; classroom implementation is now planned for Fall 2026.
Project Outcome:
We are still finalizing the Faculty toolkit but we have developed AI agents for all courses but are difficult to share outside of our institutions.
