Project Abstract:
We wanted to answer: Can an AI-supported educational assistant scale successfully across courses that differ in: subject matter, teaching methods, student backgrounds, and instructional delivery formats? This project successfully developed, implemented and assessed a retrieval-augmented, AI-powered conversational teaching assistant, eduBot, across different campuses (SUNY Farmingdale and SUNY Empire State) and disciplines (Engineering, Business and Economics).
