HyFlex Course Development and Delivery Project (2023-2024)

The goal of the project is to support campuses to scale the professional development of the HyFlex instructional modality across their campus, within a school, or department where they are trying to move to the HyFlex model, as well as facilitate the development of a HyFlex community of practice to support new and experienced HyFlex practitioners.

Funding was given to cohorts of at least 3 instructors who were scheduled to teach a new HyFlex course in 2024. Cohorts also included a staff person or faculty member (e.g., an instructional designer, technologist, or someone who works in a center for teaching and learning) who facilitated the HyFlex training course, conducted course reviews for the instructors, and serve as the point of contact for the campus.

Participants were expected to participate in an online training course and monthly community of practice meetings.

Participating campuses received up to $10,000 in funding to provide stipends to incentivize and compensate the instructors and trainers for their time.
