Dreaming in Languages: Politics, Pedagogy and Technology for Language Instruction in the 21st Century” was a one-day symposium meant for language instructors at all levels in WNY. It comprised three sessions, one on the political climate around language teaching by Dr. Ana Celia Zentella, another devoted to technological innovations and applications for language instruction by Dr. Fernando Rubio, and the last one on current theories on language acquisition and pedagogy by Dr. Flavia Laviosa. It took place at Fredonia on March 16, 2013. After the symposium, a website and a Facebook page was created to post the symposium’s materials and for teachers to share curriculum innovations.
