Timeline

Colleges applying to the third cohort or considering it should be aware of the following trainings and deadlines:

December 1, 2017: Cohort 3 Paperwork Due  

To join the third cohort, colleges must submit an information form and project budget no later than December 1.

February 1-2, 2018: Carnegie Math Pathways Winter Institute (Full Campus Teams), Sacramento, CA

Colleges will work in teams, consisting of administrators, faculty, and advisors to develop goals, objectives, and action plans to implement Quantway/Statway in 2018/2019 or to consider these courses.

A limited number of spots for SUNY attendees are available for reimbursement. If you are interested in attending, please contact Christine Kelly. Colleges applying to the third cohort must attend a planning Institute.

March 2018: College Agreements Finalized for Cohort 3

College agreements between SUNY and the participating colleges are finalized during this time. Upon execution of the agreement, the college will receive its funding and be given full access to the Carnegie Math Pathways network, including curricular materials and the assignment of a Faculty Mentor and Administrative Coach.

June 8-10, 2018: SUNY Spring Forum, Saratoga Springs, NY 

The SUNY Spring Forum dives into the Quantway/Statway curricula and provides faculty, administrators, and advisors with the resources and training needed to effectively launch and teach the Pathways.

 July 12-15, 2018: The Carnegie Math Pathways National Forum, San Jose, CA

This Forum gathers the national Pathways community and welcomes newcomers to share and learn about how Statway and Quantway are improving math outcomes for students.

Faculty planning to teach Quantway/Statway are required to participate in the June or July trainings.  In addition, colleges launching in the fall are encouraged to attend sessions for administrators and advisors.

Fall 2018

Colleges are expected to launch Quantway/Statway in the 2018/2019 academic year and offer at least three sections.
