Sharing Best Practices Conference
Please join the S-TEN North Country Region as faculty, teachers and leaders share best practices on pertinent topics related to P-12 education in New York.
When: Saturday, May 30 from 8:30-5:00
Where: High Peaks Resort, Lake Placid, New York
Why: Collaborate and learn from other C-TEN members and experts in the field.
What: Topics include clinically rich teacher preparation, edTPA, Common Core and data driven instruction. Please see the attached agenda for detailed information about speakers and content.
To Register: Registration ends May 22, 2015.
Lodging and Travel: If you would like to stay at the resort, there are a few conference rate rooms remaining if reserved by MAY 8. For the conference rate of $179 please tell them you are with “SUNY Teacher Education Network” event. A tax exempt form is attached and should be presented at check-in. Additional lodging options are also nearby, and High Peaks Resort also owns another hotel across the street (Lake House) with other rooms at a good price should conference rate rooms no longer be available.
