- Understand the resources within the SUNY System to support their campus’s online learning initiatives
- Understand the resources within SUNY Online to support their campus’s online learning initiatives
- Understand the external resources to support their campus’s online learning initiatives
- Collaborate with a SUNY Distance Learning Leader mentor
- Participate in the SUNY Communities of Practice that align with their campus’s online learning initiatives
- Participate in the SUNY Center for Professional Development Distance Learning Leadership Certificate Program

Who Should Participate?
Anyone new to a distance learning leadership role on their campus or those interested in in becoming a distance learning leader can participate. Titles, roles, and positions vary from campus to campus (VP, Coordinator, Director, etc.), so this program is for anyone interested in or currently serving in a distance learning leader role.
How Do You Participate?
The DLL Onboarding Program will be scheduled regularly throughout the year, but individuals are welcome to schedule their own online session. Each session is about 2 hours.

Additional Professional Development Opportunities
Coming soon! At the conclusion of the Distance Learning Leader Onboarding Program, participants can connect with a SUNY Distance Learning Leader mentor and move into the Distance Learning Leadership Certificate Program through the SUNY Center for Professional Development (CPD).
