{"id":3491,"date":"2016-10-21T15:06:08","date_gmt":"2016-10-21T21:06:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/online.suny.edu\/onlineteaching\/?p=3491"},"modified":"2020-11-30T11:05:30","modified_gmt":"2020-11-30T17:05:30","slug":"cote-report-october-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/online.suny.edu\/onlineteaching\/2016\/10\/21\/cote-report-october-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"COTE Report \u2013 October 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Open SUNY COTE Report to the FACTT<sup>2<\/sup> Council \u2013 10.21.16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>GENERAL Initiatives &#8211; <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/allthingscote\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/allthingscote<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open SUNY COTE<strong> Service Level Agreement (SLA) <\/strong>&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1617SLA\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/1617SLA<\/a> Open SUNY COTE SLA offers campuses more options and flexibility to take advantage of competency development offerings to support campus initiatives to systematically scale online faculty development.<!--more-->\n<ul>\n<li>In this quarter we are reviewing and adding additional services, new workshops, and options to the SLA based on feedback from the community and our experiences with the initial offering.<\/li>\n<li>The next iteration of the SLA will be available beginning in November 2016 for the 2017-18 fiscal year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Badging System Design<\/strong> \u2013 We continue to expand our badging initiative. We have been working to include more Open SUNY or SUNY-wide programs into our ecosystem and constellations of badges, and have found additional opportunities to extend the use of badges into more areas.
