The event featured special agents from the New York State Office of the Inspector General, Investigative Services Unit who detailed distance education fraud as a large and growing issue. They identified ways to help combat this issue and monitor online activity.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The afternoon consisted of presentations highlighting online proctoring and identity verification services from the following vendors:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smarterproctoring.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SmarterProctoring<\/a>, a product of SmarterServices, member of the Alliance for Learning Integrity &amp; Authentication (ALIA)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/bvirtualinc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">B Virtual<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biosig-id.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biometric Signature ID<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/examity.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Examity<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intelsecurity.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Intel Security<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/proctoru.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ProctorU<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.softwaresecure.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Software Secure<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.verificient.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Verificent Technologies<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A recording of the event will be available soon and more information can be found by visiting the vendor websites.
