  2. The instructor acts as facilitator<\/li>\n
  3. Teaching and learning are experiences shared by both the student and the teacher.<\/li>\n

    • Students retain drafts to complete further work, submit work individually at the end of class for evaluation.<\/li>\n
    • Summary sessions with oral or written comments on group activities are presented for feedback from the instructor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Collaborative<\/em><\/p>\n

      • There is the belief that students already have the necessary social skills, and that they will build on their existing skills in order to reach their goals.<\/li>\n
      • Students organize and negotiate efforts themselves.<\/li>\n
      • The activity is not monitored by the instructor.<\/li>\n
      • When questions are directed towards the teacher, the teacher guides the students to the information needed.<\/li>\n
      • Students assess individual and group performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n
