Regan Ed.D<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">been an educator for some 49 years now, having started as a senior high English teacher and finished as an Intermediate Principal.\u00a0 His education includes a Bachelor and Master\u2019s degree in secondary English with minors in Public Speaking and Educational Administration. Regan earned a doctorate in curriculum &amp; instruction and that has always been his passion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I have been teaching at Niagara County Community College since 2003 in the Childhood Education department. What a joy; I have been able to teach what I have done for my entire career while helping to prepare the next generation of teachers! <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The transition to online instruction was not an easy one for me and I must admit that originally I was probably a resistor. However, I have come full circle now and clearly see the many benefits of providing quality and engaging online instruction as a viable option for my students. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I have had the pleasure of working with some amazing support individuals at NCCC and they have provided me with much reinforcement and assistance for which I am very grateful.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am humbled to be nominated for this award!<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Douglas J.
