Frothingham, Ph.D.<\/strong> joined the Buffalo State faculty in 2000. She earned her Ph.D. in Geography at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.\u00a0 Dr. Frothingham taught courses in physical and environmental geography and her research focused on stream channel restoration and interdisciplinary ecosystem-based watershed management.\u00a0 In January 2019 she took an administrative position in the dean\u2019s office and Dr. Frothingham is currently serving as the interim dean of the School of Arts and Sciences.\u00a0 It is in her roles in the dean\u2019s office that Dr. Frothingham has advocated for quality online\/hybrid courses by facilitating the implementation of the university-wide policy for faculty to obtain credentials for teaching online\/hybrid and participate in the online course design review process, thereby ensuring the quality of Buffalo State\u2019s online\/hybrid course offerings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kelly M.
