Projects Underway

This project uses innovative approach in developing an interactive virtual learning community offering students necessary tools and resources to be successful in online courses and accommodating at risk, non-traditional and adult learners. The interactive virtual learning community will support online students to gain competence in inquiry and organize knowledge in a way that facilitates application of that knowledge in a real life. The developed educational resources will combine interactivity with 2D/3D animation, and video and screen capture technology to create compelling and engaging content for online students. Digital badges will reward students when the key milestones are met and offer incentives for learners to complete training. The Online Student Hub development methodology framework and resources will be shared across the SUNY campuses.
